Hi Mary! I use this wacky cake recipes all the time and people LOVE them. I am making a cake for my toddler’s 2nd birthday and would like to cut down on the sugar. Can I sub honey or maple syrup for the granulated sugar? Have you tried this? If so, what would your measurements be? Thank you!
Mary Neumann
Hi Julie,
I have not tried substitutes, but it might be worth an experiment in the kitchen. Hope your little one has a very happy birthday!
