Craving a quick and easy side dish that’s packed with flavor? Look no further than this delicious Skillet Honey Butter Corn! This creamy, sweet and savory corn is made with simple ingredients and is ready in just 15 minutes. For a spicy kick, try using hot honey instead of regular honey. This versatile side dish is perfect for so many meals and occasions.

Some like it hot! If you do, replace regular honey with hot honey for a little kick.

Ingredients Needed to Make Honey Butter Corn

    • Bag of Frozen Corn – Use sweet corn or a baby gold and white mix. The size of bags may vary in stores, so use a 14-16 ounce bag for this recipe. No need to thaw the frozen corn. You can also use fresh or canned corn – cook fresh corn until it reaches the desired tenderness.
    • Butter -You can use salted or unsalted butter.
    • Cream Cheese – Full fat is best, adding creaminess to the corn.
    • Honey – Use regular honey or hot honey. If you only have regular honey and would like a little heat, add a small dash of cayenne pepper.
    • Salt and Pepper to Taste – If using salted butter, you may find the corn has sufficient salt and can skip adding extra.

Is there something I could use in place of the cream cheese?

Sour cream would make a good replacement, just add it at the very end while the corn is warm (equal amount for replacement). It will be a little thinner than cream cheese, but will still be delicious.
