    Oven Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms (Easy)

    Today’s recipe is a fantastic side dish to add to your recipe box – Easy Oven Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms! A wonderful side dish that goes from busy weeknights to elegant dinner parties and holidays.

    Easy Oven Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms 

    These deliciously simple roasted green beans and mushrooms, tossed in olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, are ready in 30 minutes! A wonderful side dish for any occasion.

    What You Need to Make Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms (Full Printable Recipe at the Bottom of the Post)

    • fresh green beans
    • mushrooms (I use baby portabella)
    • fresh garlic
    • extra virgin olive oil
    • balsamic vinegar
    • fresh cracked pepper and sea salt to taste

    How to Make Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy clean-up. Wash and trim green beans and mushrooms, dry well with paper towel. Place green beans and mushrooms in a large bowl, add garlic, olive oil, balsamic, salt and pepper – toss with hands, coating green beans and mushrooms evenly.

     

    Oven Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms, Balsamic, Garlic, olive oil, sea salt and pepper in a large silver mixing bowl,, tossed then placed on baking pan evenly then served in a white serving bowl after baking.

    Place green beans and mushrooms on a baking sheet in an even, single layer.

    Bake in the middle rack of the oven for 20–23 minutes, until green beans reach the desired tenderness.

    Easy Oven Roasted Green Beans and Mushrooms (Easy to Make!)

    This deliciously simple, easy to make roasted green beans and mushrooms tossed in olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, is ready in about 30 minutes, a wonderful side dish for so many meals!     Ingredients
      

    • 1 pound fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
    • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, cleaned, sliced (I use baby portabella mushrooms, sliced)
    • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
    • 1 ½ Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 ½ Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    • fresh cracked black pepper and sea salt to taste, about 1 teaspoon each

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy clean-up.

    Notes

    Tip
    Finely grated Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top after roasting is a great addition.

      I had a hard time with these– the beans were undercooked and the mushrooms were over-cooked….loved the balsamic sauce tho so next time I might cook the beans a bit first then put them in the oven- continuing on with the recipe as it is

        Hi Rachel – The texture of vegetables are a personal preference. Some like certain veggies more done, some less. Your solution sounds like a good one. Glad you liked the balsamic!
