baby carrots, pure maple syrup or maple flavored syrup, chicken broth, butter, salt and pecans
How to make Skillet Maple-Glazed Carrots with Pecans
In a large skillet (12-inch) add chicken broth and salt, stir and bring to a boil over high heat. When chicken broth starts to boil, add carrots then reduce heat to medium and cover, allow to cook for 10–12 minutes until carrots reach desired tenderness. When ready, drain.
Next, add butter and syrup coating carrots evenly, continue cooking over medium-high heat uncovered for 3 minutes stirring often. Last, top with chopped pecans and transfer to serving bowl.
Enjoy these wonderful carrots with holiday turkey and hams or with your favorite main dishes.

- 1/4 cup real maple syrup (or maple flavored syrup)
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
