Triple Chocolate Pumpkin Mini Muffins
- 1 Box of Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate cake mix OR any Devil’s Food/Chocolate Cake Mix

Tip
If you want a pumpkin-y taste, you can add up to 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice – it’s a fantastic addition.

Oh how I LOVE these sweet treats. We enjoy them using a spice cake mix too. These are the bomb for sure…lowfat, egg free and a healthier choice. YAY!!
Marsha Baker
Oh how I LOVE these! I make them with a spice cake mix too…they're going like 'hot cakes' at my baked goods stand at our local farmer's market. No one can guess they are lowfat. Amazing! Yours look mighty inviting!

If you like the pumpkin flavor, you can use a spice cake mix instead of the chocolate. Then they taste like pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Divine!
Amy
YUMMM! Can I have one? Right now? These look aMAzing! I shared this on the One Artsy Mama facebook page!

I do the same thing but I use a box of spice cake mix! Can also make cookies out of this… just drop by tablespoon or so and bake at 350* for 10-12 mins. So good! My friend recently did a bake sale, and these were the first to sell out 🙂
Mary ~
Thanks for the tip, I can't wait to try it this way! Thanks for stopping by…Have a great weekend!

Hi Mary,
Just discovered your blog and I can't wait to try this recipe! Do you think it would work using a standard muffin pan?
Thanks!
Florence
Mary ~
Hi Florence! Thank you so much and thanks for stopping by! I think they work great in a standard muffin pan. I would bake them according to the recipe on your cake mix box for standard size muffins. I would be sure to check them with a toothpick – also maybe check them a few minutes early to be sure they are not over-baking. I also made these with a white cake mix and pumpkin:) https://www.sweetlittlebluebird.com/2012/03/easy-cake-mix-mini-muffins-made-with.html
Thanks for the visit – means so much! Cheers!

Thanks for the info on the standard size, I want to make them but don’t want to do the mini muffins.
