What you need: 3 pounds of wings, a bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce, salt and pepper.
How to make: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Rinse wings and pat dry. Bend each wing, tucking the tip under the large joint, forming a triangle. *If some don’t want to stay, don’t worry, just leave as is.
Next, salt and pepper both sides of wings. Place wings in a single layer in a roasting pan or on a baking sheet, bake on the middle rack of the oven for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown, flipping wings once midway through baking.
The secret to great oven-barbecued wings is adding the sauce at the end!
For a quick clean-up, I like to line my pan with parchment paper.
When ready, remove wings from oven and drain any fat. Baste wings with barbecue sauce on both sides, return to oven and bake for 10 minutes. Last, turn wings over and bake an additional 10 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
