Today’s recipe share is one of my youngest daughter’s favorite comfort meals – One-Pot Cheeseburger Pasta!
One-Pot Cheeseburger Pasta
If you have one pound of ground beef and are looking for a new recipe, give this one a try! A fantastic one-pot dinner that’s ready in about 30 minutes! Two favorites combine perfectly for a super flavorful, easy-to-make pasta dish the whole family will love.
My daughter found this recipe on Tasty and asked me to make it – it’s been one of her most requested meals since.
This is not the prettiest dish but it sure is tasty!
What You Need to Make One-Pot Cheeseburger Pasta
Ground beef, yellow onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth (I use low sodium), water, rotini pasta, milk and mild cheddar cheese.
How to Make Cheeseburger Pasta
In a large pot add ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Cook over medium-high heat, breaking up beef, blending seasonings evenly. Cook until browned with no pink remaining and onions are translucent, approximately 7-8 minutes.
Next, add beef broth and water and bring to a simmer then add pasta and allow to simmer uncovered for approximately 17-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pasta is ready when it is cooked to desired texture and broth has cooked down.
Last, add 1/2 cup milk and cheese. Mix well until cheese is melted and evenly blended. Serve, salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
*I didn’t photograph browning the beef and onions with seasonings – be sure to do that first!
