This was so delicious! My husband loved it. I did not shred the chicken. We each had a chicken breast. Also, to cut carbs I made zoodles. Will be keeping this in the lineup for dinner. Thank you.

Could I substitute broccoli in place of the mushrooms? Would you know when I should put them in? I was thinking maybe the last 30 mins? Or just stream separately…. thoughts?

Can you use frozen chicken? I’ve made this multiple times with thawed out chicken but I forgot to thaw them out today and they’re still partially frozen 😬

Do you think the beefy onion soup mix will work? That’s all I have on hand. Or will it not be good since it’s chicken and not beef.

Why would you? takes egg noodles less than 5 mins to cook and wont take away the moisture in the crock pop needed for cooking the main dish.

This makes approximately six servings served over mashed potatoes, rice or eggs noodles. We had leftovers with our family of four.
