    Ingredients

    • 6 Medium Size Tart Apples, Peeled and Sliced/Diced (I use Granny Smith)
    • 3/4 Cup Sugar
    • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
    • Dash of Nutmeg (about 1/8 teaspoon – optional)
    • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
    • 2 Tablespoons Flour
    • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
    • *1 1/2 Tablespoons Melted Butter (to brush on top of tortillas)
*Cinnamon Sugar Recipe to sprinkle on top of tortillas
    • 1/4 cup of sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    • Stir sugar and cinnamon together until well blended

    Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.  Butter (grease) a 9×13 baking dish.
    2. Next, combined all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Toss the sliced/diced apples in the lemon juice, then pour the dry mixture over the apples. Stir the apples, making sure they are coated well.
    3. Place a 1/2 cup of the apple mixture and spread in the center of a tortilla. Roll the tortilla and place in pan, seam down. Repeat 7 more times. Note, You may only be able to fit 7 rolls in your pan.
    4. Once rolls are in the pan, lightly brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, making sure to sprinkle in between each roll on their sides.
    5. Cover with foil and bake on middle rack of oven for 40–50 minutes. Bake until apples reach the desired texture.
    6. Remove, enjoy hot or cold. Great served warm with vanilla ice cream! I love them cold, wrapped in wax paper in my hand-so good!

    Baking Tips

    • For crispier tortillas, remove foil with 10 minutes left for baking.
    • For a QUICK version, you can use canned apple pie filling (I use Duncan Hines®). Brush the tortillas with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees f.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
    Cheers!

I love homemade pie crust too, just not the work and mess with flour all over the counter! This is so much easier and a really yummy twist! My family and friends love them. I'm making another batch this weekend for family visiting from out-of-town. :O) This is my easy go-to fall recipe!

        Hi Kimberly,

I think they should work fine. Just be sure to let them defrost first, and get them close to room temperature. If they are already baked/cooked apples, reduce your baking time to 15-20 minutes…you don't want apple sauce rolls! :O) If they are uncooked apples, because the apples have been frozen, I would check them a little bit earlier so they don't over bake.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Let me know if you make them, what you think!

        Have a great night!
