Cake pops made with egg-free Crazy Cake recipe
Our youngest daughter has an egg allergy so I used an
egg-free cake recipe my girlfriend gave me a few years ago:
Crazy Cake
1 1/2 C Flour
1 C Sugar
3 Tbsp Cocoa
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp WhiteVinegar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 C Sugar
3 Tbsp Cocoa
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp WhiteVinegar
1 tsp Vanilla
5 TBL Veg Oil
1 c Cold water
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda in an 8-inch square pan.
1 c Cold water
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda in an 8-inch square pan.
Make three holes in the mixture.
Put vinegar in one hole, oil in another, vanilla in the third. Pour the cold water
over all and stir to mix well. Bake at 350 deg for 35 minutes.
Thanks for the recipe, Janet!!!
I’ve made cupcakes and doubled the recipe for a 13″X9″ cake. This was my first time making cake pops. We had a few fall apart due to the cake mix being so moist. This recipe is great for cakes, not for cake pops, unless you spray the pop maker each time. We lost about 1/4 of them – my girls and I had no problem eating the rejects!
End result – lots of fun and super yummy!
