    DIY Framed Valentine’s Day Decor

    ♥ + Frame + Cute Paper = Adorable

We can’t get through one holiday before we are on to the next!  This year, I’m actually excited for the merchants to quickly fill the shelves for the next holiday. I have lots of little projects I want to do and I’m excited to see what I find.

Every year I say I’m going to get home accents for Valentine’s Day, but never do. By the time I shop, everything is picked over and I can never seem to find anything I like.  I did some after Christmas shopping last night, thinking that a few days after Christmas they would have Valentine’s day merchandise to replace the bare shelves – I was right!  Hobby Lobby was in the process of filling their shelves with Cupid!   I found a small red sequin heart ornament for $1.99. I then headed to the scrapbook section, snagged some cute paper, stickers and grabbed a few frames at 50% off.  *Before you head to Hobby Lobby, check online to see if they have a printable store coupon for things not currently on sale.

Here’s my first creation that took less than 5 minutes to make.  I think it’s sweet and subtle.  Best of all, it was quick and cost only $6.50 to make!  If I had an extra frame hanging around the house, it would have only cost $1.50.
    Pretty good!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
