Dinner just got a lot easier with this simple, delicious recipe – Slow Cooker Sweet & Smoky Pulled Chicken, Makes the BEST Sandwiches!

EASY SLOW COOKER PULLED CHICKEN – MAKES THE BEST SANDWICHES

This slow cooker sweet & smoky pulled chicken makes the BEST sandwiches. With just 5 ingredients (including the buns), and minutes to throw together, this meal is perfect for feeding a crowd, parties and busy days. Perfectly seasoned tender white meat is slow cooked to perfection then piled high on a bun topped with your favorite BBQ sauce – so darn good.

This is a 2 photo collage. The top photo shows a can of cake, a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce and a container of McCormick's Sweet & Smoky Rub. The bottom photo shows the pulled chicken served on a roll with barbecue sauce.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE SLOW COOKER SWEET & SMOKY PULLED CHICKEN SANDWICHES

Boneless skinless chicken breasts, Coca-Cola, McCormick Grill Mates Sweet & Smoky Rub, your favorite BBQ sauce and rolls/buns.

The sweet & smoky rub is so good, such amazing flavor.  *I should note, I have no affiliation with McCormick or any other products in this post – just a fan.

HOW TO MAKE SLOW COOKER SWEET & SMOKY PULLED CHICKEN SANDWICHES

Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in cooker. Sprinkle the chicken evenly with rub, then pour Coca-Cola around the chicken. Cook on high for 3–4 hours, or on low for 5–6 hours.

This is a 4 photo collage showing the chicken being made in the slow cooker.

When ready, remove chicken and discard liquid, reserving approximately 1/3 cup of the liquid in the slow cooker. Place chicken back in cooker and shred using two forks.

This is a photo of the chicken after cooking, shredded/pulled in the slow cooker.

Pile the pulled chicken high on rolls and top with your favorite BBQ sauce and toppings, like coleslaw. Enjoy!

Yes you can, Teresa – chicken broth and water work, even root beer.
