4-6 pork chops boneless or *bone-in, 3/4 inch thick (2 to 2 1/2 lbs)
1can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1packet (1 ounce) dry onion soup mix
1can mushrooms, (7 ounces) stems and pieces, drained – or use fresh
¾cupwater
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place pork chops in cooker and season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, mix condensed soups, onion soup mix, mushrooms (drained) and water. Mix well. Pour mixture over pork chops.
Cook on high for *4 to 5 hours, or on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Serve pork chops and gravy (or on the side) mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles. Perfect with your favorite veggies and a salad.
Notes
*Be sure to watch out for bones when using bone-in pork chops.
*Each slow cooker cooks differently, adjust cooking times according to your cooker. In some slow cookers, the pork chops might be ready in less than 4 hours.
After a ton of great reviews, for those who like a thick gravy, simply reduce the amount of water or add cornstarch 1 hour before serving.
