    Quick Fixes For Loose Zippers and Too Tight to Button Jeans

    by Mary Neumann · 38 Comments

    I have two great tips to share with you today…

    First tip…

    Do you have a favorite pair of jeans or pants

    with a zipper that refuses to stay zipped?
    Don’t stop wearing them or throw them out!
    Here is what you can do to keep that zipper zipped!
    All you need is a tiny hair tie – that’s it!

    Quick Fix For a Loose Zipper on Jeans & Pants…

    Follow the easy steps below and your problem is solved:

    {click photo to enlarge}
    I like to use tiny clear elastic hair ties.
    You can find these in the hair accessory section.
    How easy is that?!  Problem solved!

    ……………………………………………………………………………….
    Next tip…
    When I was pregnant with my girls and didn’t want to wear maternity jeans just yet,
    I used a similar technique to give me a few more weeks in regular clothes.

    If your pants are too tight to button, here is an easy fix:

    Using a larger hair tie, this technique gives you little more room to breathe!

    I hope these tips were helpful.
    Thanks for stopping by!
    Have a wonderful weekend!

      Great idea. I was a Walmart the other day and found a pair of fleece lined Wrangler Cargo Pants. They were on clearance for $5!! They were one size to small. The current size of wrangler cargo pants I’m wearing are kinda loose. So I thought I would take the chance. Plus I’m trying to lose weight anyway. So now with this trickni can wear them now!!!

      Great tip, bought a pair of jeans online, and can't return them, they're a bit small, but they stretch as I wear them, this will work til I lose a few pounds!! {ha ha right!} 🙂 Thanks so much!! Gotta go grab some hair ties! {I have short hair too.}

      great idea!! I have been using a key ring, which I've seen on some tips but this one seems like it might be a little less awkward. I'll have to try it!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm going to look at more of your blog while I'm here. Please do feel free to visit mine though I haven't been updating it recently!

      This is one of those so simple yet brilliant solutions. I wish I had thought of the one for the jeans while I was pregnant.
