Happy Holidays!
Just a quick note to wish all those that celebrate,
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Our family received the best Christmas gift ever!
After a week in the hospital for surgery
for a midgut malroation, our little one
made it home yesterday!

During her stay, we had so much love and support.
I can not thank our family and friends enough.
Thank you.
There truly are not enough thank yous.

Here are a few photos from the week…
Even though it was a tough week,
there were several things to brighten her days.
………………
Chloe (bear) was by her side the entire time,
from the surgery to recovery.
Her big sister was so comforting…
always holding her hand.
So many family, friends and classmates
sent love and well wishes.
Elf on the Shelf followed her all
the way to the hospital!
She wasn’t allowed to drink anything for
over 4 days, or eat anything for 6 days.
She was allowed to have a few licks from
hard candy and lollipops, so we made her
a Dum Dums Christmas tree for her room.
We found Elf of the Shelf sitting on top the
second night of her stay, holding a lollipop.
First trip out of bed to see a
tree down the hall.
Santa visited her via Skype and
This is Annabelle, the sweetest
4 year old Bernese Mountain dog.
She is one of the four therapy dogs that
came to visit during her stay.
She was smiling ear to ear when
the dogs came to visit!
Such a wonderful program.
Her first time walking unassisted after surgery… |
A portable Wii system was brought to her room
her last night when she was feeling better.
When she arrived home,
our wonderful friends had a huge banner waiting for her!

I don’t think I’ll have many new
posts until after New Year’s.
posts until after New Year’s.
I’ll be spending the next week getting
our little one back to 100%. I am so
looking forward to a wonderful 2013 for
Sweet Little Bluebird!
Thank you so much for all of
the visits and sweet comments,
2012 was awesome!
I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for 2013!
Cheers to all!
Happy Holidays!
